Day 01: Nairobi - Samburu: Leave Nairobi early in the morning with Fraser for a 5 hour drive to the north of Nairobi, Samburu National Reserve, which conservationists George Adamson and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness made famous in the best-selling book and award winning movie Born Free.

It is the reserve known for a number of species that are rare or elsewhere, such as the net giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, giraffe, gazelle and Oryx Beisa together with the rest of the species such as lions, cheetahs, leopards and elephants come, and just maybe, an endangered black rhino. Day 02: Samburu: Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya's giraffe species - the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Accommodation at Samburu Sopa Lodge. Day 03: Samburu - Meru: After early morning breakfast, depart for Meru National Park one of the most famous known parks of Kenya which has a wide range of wild beasts like elephant, hippopotamus, lion, leopard, cheetah, black rhinoceros and some rare antelopes. Day 04: Meru: We spend a full day game viewing drives in the Meru national park or  morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Meru wildlife includes large herds of Buffalo, Bushbuck, Duiker, Eland, Elephant, Gazelle, Genet, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Impala, Kudu, Waterbuck and Gravy Zebra. Expect to see Baboons, Hyena, Jackal, Kudu, Lion, Mongoose, Oryx, Oribi, Velvet Monkeys and Warthog. You may see Wild dog, Bush baby, Caracal, Cheetah, Civet, Dik-dik, Leopard, Otter, Bush pig, Porcupine, Black and White Rhino. 

The rivers are abound with Hippo and Crocodile. Bird life includes Peter's fin foot which inhabits the Murera and Ura Rivers, the Pel's Fishing Owl, Kingfishers, Rollers, Bee-eaters, Starlings and numerous Weavers. Day 05: Meru – Lake Nakuru: After breakfast drive descend via the Aberdare ranges onto the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop over Thompson Falls (Nyahururu), which is a 74 m (243 ft) scenic waterfall on the Ewaso Ng’iro River, which drains from the Aberdare Mountain Ranges. Take photos near the falls as you witness the beautiful scenery. After lunch we drive to Nakuru for overnight stay at lake Nakuru Lodge or Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. Day 06: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi: Early breakfast then proceed for game viewing drives at Lake Nakuru national park. Lake Nakuru national park is a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, there is a considerable number of animals to be seen such as many large game animals as zebras, buffaloes, lion.  Lake Nakuru national park was the first place in Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. This is one of the few places where we can see the endangered Rothschild's giraffes. After lunch drive back to Nairobi where you arrive around 16.00 PM. Meals plan. {B, L}
